i've never cried more in my life oh my god. the prologue and ch.1 actually had me violently + silently sobbing into my hands at 1 am. your writing is genuinely insane and i cannot wait for more chapters!! also call me delusional but alistair is 100% alive and well somewhere vesphire in my head. nobody can convice me otherwise or i will just have to die.
I genuinely believe he is still alive. Or maybe just maybe want to lol. I'm hoping maybe they come back as a scarred /masked presence that you will run into eventually. Like they haven't contact you because they're afraid it might harm you to reach out considering your position. Or perhaps they are planning our rescue.
Hey, real quick - I had an idea. Instead of saying “codexes”, you could say “codices”. They’re both correct, but I think the latter rolls off the tongue better. But it’s just a little thing, and it’s just my personal preference, so, no biggie if the idea is ignored. Just thought I’d bring it up.
Hey! I know about that, I just used codexes because it would be more easily understood by people like "oh plural of codex so this is where they are" while codices could've gotten a more "?" type of response lol. Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it.
Man, I was looking through the comments, and 2/3s of them are so wholesome. The remaining 1/3 are obsessed with razing the kingdom to the ground in revenge. Exactly what I expected, before even playing the game.

Wonderful story, painful perhaps, maybe enraging. My hope is that the mc is somehow the reincarnation of the old god of fire or at least has that kind of power. Since each revenge/retaliation seems to only escalate in terms of damage. Hopefully, we will be able to burn the kingdom to the ground. You lose one, then take everything from mc. Your kingdom turned to ashes is only fair. Maybe not the most productive choice of actions and there were also a few nice folks. But it would be so satisfying. Fingers crossed for a path like that.
Oh I think this will be the first game where I won't have an RO, I want everyone to die 😈 so if we have an ending to get revenge muahahaha 😈,that's going to be my choice 😈😈
Love this IF ❤️. Despite everything, I still like Luceris, I feel like he genuinely cares at least in my playthrough as a MC's that are kind and doesn't hold any resentment at. I like how you can make him uncomfortable by calling him your husband. Helios is also really sweet for putting effort.
I may have. I feel like Luceris is just a victim, though what he did is still wrong. I just want to know the whole truth, to be honest. I also have a feeling that the twin is alive, or at least with the MC, which is more than enough for me.

i love love love reading IFs but as much as i can get immersed and attached to a story it's rare for me to be unable to distance myself from it... except for this. i can't describe how i genuinely felt what MC felt and i actually got emotional even thought its just lines on a screen. every single page was sooo interesting and i couldn't help but want to play more even though i also hated playing the game because i hated the king for what he did to our family. But to be honest this is genuinely a very well-written game and is very engaging! i usually focus a lot on the romance aspects of IFs but here i dont mind either way, i still can't pick who i want to romance though, but either way i really really look forward to seeing more!
I wish the option to note after burning the room that before that you’d had watch people make a play and use your families murder as entertainment , and not just I wanted to mess with him, unless I’m missing some choice and that changes? I’m not sure but to me it wasn’t on a whim feeling ig
Hello! Thank you for pointing that out. I went and checked what it was and realized there is a coding error. If you picked "Do it, take your anger out on this room." instead of "Do it, it will be fun to see how Luceris will react." in chapter 2 then it should've shown the following instead of the "mess with him" part. ^^ I will have it fixed when I make a basic update to the demo soon!
loove this thang soo much all the characters are so well thought out and interesting and playing as mc is just so much fun its a fascinating world and im sooo invested already
Not to be dramatic or anything. But I would take a bullet for Helios. My MC has so much trauma but at the same time if Helios bad, why pretty? Also slight spoilers but getting to slap Luceris across the face like the little b!tch he is was quiet possibly the highlight of my entire year.
I want to say that I really love how engaging the writing is! I look forward to future chapters. I’ve read, edited, etc… a lot of works: interactive and non-interactive, and yours really stands out to me! I find your book (specifically) to be really unique. Not only is the punctuation, grammar, and vocabulary exquisite… but the characterization, foreshadowing, plot, and story telling are, too! If you don’t already have plans to put a price on the final version, I truly believe you should consider it. It’s even better considering you’re a humble person/author, which we don’t see much of those these days… Based on the comments, it’s fair to say that you did such a great job at pulling in readers! I recommend that everyone should read this at least once.
GOD I LOVE THIS SERIES SOO MUCHH!! 😭🫶🏻 i love how our MC reacted to certain situations, and I love the characters and how unplain they are. The storyline is also VERY interesting unlike other series. Right now, I'm just wishing that one of our siblings except for our sister is actually alive, specifically our lovely twin. And maybe the other necklace would be a hint that our twin is actually alive?? Not sure. 😞
Currently waiting for chapter 4 even though the 3rd chapter was released not even a month ago. 😌

I have a question about the MCs position in the monarchy. If they're the royal consort, doesn't that mean that they're married to Luceris???
