I really hope Clarence and Alistair (maybe Catalina too) are alive😭, I cannot be seen as delulu.

WHA-, ehem, i mean, what!? Why? To be fair, he makes lancelot (my all time favorite character, i get sad when the game doesn't talk about him) happy, and hes honestly taken us under his wing and kinda sorta treats us like an offbrand son. I also joke with him and love his humor too. But, your opinion is your own, and yes i can understand why you hate him.
I mean, yeah he kinda treats us like his child, but he also burned down our palace with us inside, killing our entire family and would have happily killed us too if not for Lancelot, but I see where you're coming from
He killed a whole family, dismembered the corpses of two young diplomats (the princes) and propicied the death of thousands of persons (with families) out of the rage of losing his wife.
As you can see in the prologue, he wanted to kill the mc too, nevertheless he had a reason for keeping him alive
Tell me you're not going to leave this incredible story in limbo. Many months have passed and now I'm afraid it's like other incredible IFs that have been abandoned 😭. Leaving that aside, what an interesting and engaging story, hoping it continues.

It's technically possible because we never saw his body and Lancelot tries to stop Luceris from killing MC by stating that they're a child, which wouldn't make sense if he'd already killed MC's twin beforehand. Then again it's unlikely Alistair survived the fire. Maybe he's some kind of spirit? It's possible since there are gods and magic and the fact that we hear his voice in the story but probably not.
i swear i've been looking through these comments for so long,, how is no one talking about hunter ???????? literally was my first choice with no questions asked. so far, i've seen ONE person talk about hunter and how they friend-zone the MC (which was absolutely devastating i wanted to die when it happened) but sigh i'm so ready for this slow-burn hehehe
Your talking about hunter not getting attention, what about helios? I mean, i do like hunter, but my opinion on him wavers due to him ditching the mc and hanging with helios and vincent, but helios is so kind and sweet. (Btw, vincent is an a** due to the inn incident, still mad).
bro i totally understand but helios is literally the most popular RO from my observations (˘ŏ_ŏ) (also i agree with u 100% on vincent hehe) i dont really get the hype about helios though... like yeah hes sweet and all but how am i gonna go ahead and like the dude whose father killed my family.... it might just be me not picking any options that would lead to more interactions with him but from what i experienced in my playthroughs, he just wasnt all that interesting to me ¯\_ (ᵕ—ᴗ—)_/¯
yeah, he is favored but he kinda doesn't like me based on the relationship scale, so I want to get his up because I'm honestly trying to win everyone, except Vincent, over. I also kinda have a very unpopular opinion, luceris is a good character.
omg i love this so much! the writing is superb, the characters are well-written and it really does immerse you in the story and make you feel what the characters must be feeling.
one thing i will say tho is that chapter one kind of frustrated me; I wanted more choice to be angrier at all of them 😭 MC was too nice and didn't lash out enough imo. i definitely would've reacted very differently if i was forced to be in close proximity with the same people who killed my family at nine years old.
but that's just me and i loved the story either way. can't wait for the next update!
All of the characters are quite charming, really. They feel natural and are well written. Though I guess I'll go with Helios' route, just because I like how messy (given the MC's situation) the relationship would be.
Aside from that, the whole seperating sexual desire from romantic route is such a great touch I don't see in many games. And the whole "unhealthy coping mechanism" choices are really interesting. One of my favorite IFs definitely.
Plan: Continue to get to know Fadiya better, master magic (and then weapons), eventually kill Luceris and/or Catilina, depends on how the scenario played out, but one of them WILL die. Also want to get my kingdom back.

The author seems to have been gone for a few months, but is back now. From what I found on her tumblr, she's working on rewrites now
